A universal remote, including the one made by Xfinity, can be connected to multiple different devices. In short, you can control all of them with just one remote. Setting up the Xfinity remote is also a pretty simple task, but you’ll need the correct Comcast Xfinity remote codes.
In this guide, we’ll go through the Xfinity remote codes and explain how you can use them to program the remote. Also, keep in mind that Xfinity XR2 remote codes are also the same as the ones mentioned below.
Turn on your TV > press and hold the Setup button until you see a green light > use numeric keys to enter the code > test the remote.
For remotes with voice control, you need to press the Microphone button > say ‘program remote’ > follow the on-screen instructions.
